Classic Frogmore stew: shrimp, corn, potatoes, and spicy sausage in a flavorful South Carolina low country boil.
Ingredients:
  • 6 quarts water
  • 0.75 cup Old Bay Seasoning TM
  • 2 pounds new red potatoes
  • 2 pounds hot smoked sausage links, cut into 2 inch pieces
  • 12 ears corn - husked, cleaned and quartered
  • 4 pounds large fresh shrimp, unpeeled
Instructions:
  • In a large stockpot over high heat, bring water and Old Bay seasoning to a boil.
  • Cook potatoes for 15 minutes, then add sausage and cook for 5 more minutes. Next, add corn and cook for an additional 5 minutes. Finally, stir in shrimp and cook until pink, about 5 more minutes. Drain and serve immediately.
