Frozen strawberry daiquiri recipe

Make a fruity rum slushie by blending frozen fruit, lime, rum, sugar syrup, and ice. Cheers to this refreshing cocktail!
Ingredients:
  • 55g (1/4 cup) caster sugar
  • 300g frozen strawberries, chopped
  • 100ml white rum
  • 60ml (1/4 cup) fresh lime juice
  • Fresh blueberries and edible flowers, to decorate
Instructions:
  • In a saucepan over medium heat, combine sugar and 60ml (1 ⁄4 cup) water. Stir until sugar dissolves. Increase heat to medium-high and bring to a boil. Simmer for 5 minutes until slightly thickened. Transfer the mixture to a heatproof jug and refrigerate for 1 hour to chill.
  • In a blender, combine strawberries and 2 tablespoonfuls of sugar syrup until smooth. Add rum and juice, blend until well combined. Divide mixture into 2 serving glasses. Skewer a few blueberries onto each of 2 cocktail skewers and garnish the cocktails with edible flowers. Serve and enjoy!
