Elevate your banana muffins with Betty Crocker® gel and Gold Medal® flour for a delightful twist!
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup mashed very ripe bananas (2 medium)
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 2/3 cup ready-to-eat cereal (any flavor)
  • 1 tube (0.68 oz) Betty Crocker™ red decorating gel
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 400°F and prepare a 12-cup muffin tin by greasing the bottoms with shortening or lining them with paper baking cups.
  • In a medium bowl, mash ripe bananas with sugar and mix in milk, oil, and egg until blended. Gently fold in flour, baking powder, and salt until just combined. Spoon batter evenly into muffin cups.
  • Bake until golden brown, about 20-25 minutes. Let cool for 5 minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack. Allow to cool completely, for about 45 minutes. Spread peanut butter on top, add cereal for hair, and decorate faces with gel.
