Elevate stuffed mushrooms with flavorful dry stuffing mix!
Ingredients:
  • 12 large fresh mushrooms, stems removed
  • 1 (6 ounce) package chicken flavored dry stuffing mix
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 0.5 pound imitation crabmeat, flaked
  • 2 cups butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, peeled and minced
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • garlic powder to taste
  • crushed red pepper to taste
Instructions:
  • Place mushroom caps, bottom side up, on a medium baking sheet. Chop the mushroom stems and set aside.
  • Prepare the chicken-flavored dry stuffing mix as per the package instructions.
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and sauté garlic until tender, about 5 minutes.
  • Combine reserved mushroom stems, dry stuffing mix, cream cheese, and imitation crabmeat in a bowl. Generously fill mushrooms with the mixture. Top with butter, garlic, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and crushed red pepper for added flavor.
  • Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 10 to 12 minutes until the stuffing turns a delicious golden brown.
