Spiced cinnamon and ginger crumble tops tangy rhubarb for a delightful dessert.
Ingredients:
  • 6 cups diced (1/2 inch) rhubarb
  • 1.5 cups white sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 0.25 cup butter
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) to ensure the perfect cooking temperature.
  • Evenly layer the rhubarb in a 1 1/2-quart casserole dish to fully cover the bottom, and sprinkle white sugar over the top.
  • Combine flour, brown sugar, ginger, and cinnamon in a large bowl. Use a pastry cutter to blend in the butter until the mixture forms pea-sized crumbs. Spread over the rhubarb.
  • Bake in a hot oven until the top turns golden brown, approximately 30 minutes. Allow it to cool until it becomes crispy before serving.
