Tangy mustard glaze elevates vibrant asparagus and corn.
Ingredients:
  • 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 lb fresh asparagus spears
  • 1 cup frozen corn
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • 1/4 teaspoon lemon-pepper seasoning
Instructions:
  • Trim off the tough ends of the asparagus and cut the spears into 1-inch pieces.
  • In a 2-quart saucepan, bring 1/2 cup of water to a boil. Add the asparagus and corn, then simmer uncovered for 5 to 8 minutes until the asparagus is tender-crisp. Drain before serving.
  • Combine the mustard, honey, and lemon-pepper seasoning in a small bowl, then mix it into the hot vegetables.
