Bake gluten-free cupcakes topped with vibrant fruit snacks for a playful touch.
Ingredients:
  • 1 box (15 oz) Betty Crocker™ Gluten Free Devil's Food Cake Mix
  • Water, butter and eggs called for on cake mix box
  • 1 tub (12 oz) Betty Crocker™ Whipped Fluffy White Frosting
  • 1 box (4.5-oz) Betty Crocker™ Fruit by the Foot™ strawberry chewy fruit snack
  • Decorative paper scissors
  • Heart-shape paper punch
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Line 16 regular-size muffin cups with paper baking cups. Prepare cake mix according to package instructions, incorporating water, butter, and eggs. Distribute batter evenly among muffin cups.
  • Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let it cool for 10 minutes, then transfer from pan to a cooling rack. Allow it to cool completely for about 30 minutes.
  • Top cupcakes with frosting. Use packaged fruit snacks to create decorative accents: slice some into 1x1/4-inch strips using decorative scissors for streamers and punch heart shapes from others by removing wrappers. Place streamers and hearts on cupcakes.
