Goldilocks-approved sweet potato pie: Sweet, smooth, just right.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pastry for a 9-inch pie crust
  • 1 pound sweet potatoes, boiled and mashed
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 0.5 cup butter, melted
  • 0.5 cup milk
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C), then gently press the pie crust into a 9-inch pie pan.
  • Combine sweet potatoes, sugar, butter, milk, eggs, vanilla extract, nutmeg, and cinnamon in a bowl, then pour the mixture into the pie crust.
  • Bake until a knife in the center comes out clean, approximately 1 hour, in the preheated oven.
