Indulgent Gorgonzola appetizers, perfect with wine and cheese. A rich recipe passed down from a friend, guaranteed to impress your guests. Customize with your preferred amount of Gorgonzola.
Ingredients:
  • 0.75 cup chopped green olives
  • 0.75 cup chopped kalamata olives
  • 0.5 cup crumbled Gorgonzola cheese
  • 0.75 cup chopped macadamia nuts
  • 5 tablespoons chopped fresh basil leaves
  • 4 roma (plum) tomatoes, seeded and chopped
  • 1 red bell pepper, chopped
  • 3.5 tablespoons chopped fresh garlic
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • salt to taste
  • ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 (8 ounce) jar grape leaves packed in brine
Instructions:
  • Combine the green olives, kalamata olives, Gorgonzola cheese, macadamia nuts, basil, tomatoes, bell pepper, garlic, and brown sugar in a bowl. Season generously with salt and pepper.
  • Place a generous spoonful of the olive and Gorgonzola mixture in the center of each grape leaf. Fold or roll the leaves around the filling and refrigerate until ready to serve.
