Delicious apple bread pudding with raisins, apples, cinnamon, and eggs, topped with warm vanilla sauce.
Ingredients:
  • 4 cups soft bread cubes
  • 2 cups peeled and sliced apples
  • 0.25 cup raisins
  • 1.75 cups milk
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 0.25 cup margarine
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 cup margarine
  • 0.25 cup white sugar
  • 0.25 cup brown sugar
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 7x11-inch baking dish generously.
  • Create a delightful bread pudding by tossing bread, apples, and raisins in a bowl. Then, in a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter with milk and brown sugar. Pour the luscious mixture over the bread mix, ensuring everything is well coated, before transferring it to a baking dish.
  • Combine eggs, cinnamon, and vanilla in a small bowl, then pour over the bread mixture in the baking dish.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until the center is firm and apples are soft, for 40 to 50 minutes.
  • While waiting, prepare the vanilla sauce: Combine milk, butter, white sugar, and brown sugar in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, then remove from heat and stir in the vanilla. Drizzle over the pudding before serving.
