Overnight Rest Lasagna: Layer uncooked noodles with cheese, marinara sauce, and ground beef. Bake into a soft, bubbly, and delicious dish.
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 pounds ground beef
  • 1 (30 ounce) jar marinara sauce
  • 0.75 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 12 lasagna noodles
  • 1 (16 ounce) package cottage cheese
  • 12 ounces grated mozzarella cheese
  • 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions:
  • Brown the ground beef in a large saucepan over medium-high heat for 5 minutes until no longer pink; discard excess fat. Add marinara sauce, water, and salt; bring to a boil and then remove from heat.
  • Layer 6 noodles in a 9x13-inch baking dish, adjusting as needed to fit. Spread half of the sauce over the noodles. Sprinkle half of the cottage cheese and mozzarella cheese on top. Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients. Finish with a generous sprinkle of Parmesan cheese. Cover the dish securely with foil and refrigerate overnight.
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Bake lasagna covered for about 1 hour until noodles are tender, cheese is melted, and sauce is bubbling. Rest for 10 minutes before serving.
