"Family heirloom pancake recipe - a guaranteed favorite!"
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.25 cup white sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk, at room temperature
  • 1 egg, at room temperature
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 2 teaspoons oil, or as needed
Instructions:
  • In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Create a well in the center of the dry ingredients and pour in milk, egg, and 1 tablespoon of oil. Mix until fully combined.
  • Heat a griddle over medium-high heat until a few drops of water bounce on it, then add 2 teaspoons of oil.
  • Drop batter onto the griddle and cook until bubbles appear and edges are dry, around 3 to 5 minutes. Flip and cook until the other side is golden brown, another 3 to 5 minutes. Repeat with the rest of the batter.
