Busy weeknights are a breeze with Grandma's Chicken Casserole! Creamy and crunchy with cheddar, tender chicken, and buttery panko topping. Easy prep with shortcut ingredients like canned soup and rotisserie chicken. Dinner ready in no time for quality family time!
Ingredients:
  • 3 cups shredded or chopped cooked chicken
  • 2 cans (10.5 oz each) condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (8 oz)
  • 3 cups Progresso™ plain panko crispy bread crumbs
  • 6 tablespoons butter, melted
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Arrange the chicken evenly on the bottom of an ungreased 13x9-inch (3-quart) baking dish.
  • Ladle soup over chicken, ensuring an even distribution.
  • Generously scatter cheese on top of the soup.
  • Mix bread crumbs and butter together in a medium bowl until fully combined.
  • Sprinkle the bread crumb mixture evenly on top of the cheese.
  • Bake until the cheese is melted, the bread crumbs are golden brown, and the casserole is heated through, for about 30 to 35 minutes.
  • Allow it to rest for 10 minutes before serving.
