Impress your guests with a simple and delicious sweet corn pudding that's sure to be a hit at Thanksgiving.
Ingredients:
  • 6 tablespoons milk, half and half, or cream
  • 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 2 (15.5-ounce) cans whole kernel corn, drained
  • 2 (14.75-ounce) cans cream-style corn
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • A few grinds of black pepper, optional
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F and generously grease a 2 1/2-quart baking dish of your choice (11x7 or 9x9-inch).
  • Prepare the pudding by gently heating milk and butter until butter is melted. In a large bowl, beat eggs, add cornstarch, then mix in both cans of corn, sugar, salt, pepper, and the milk-butter mix. Bake until the center is set and edges are browned, 40 to 60 minutes.
  • Serve: Allow to cool for at least 10 minutes before enjoying. For best results, serve warm, not piping hot. If you loved the dish, please consider rating us and leaving a review!
