Blueberry buckle: tender berry-filled cake with buttery cinnamon crumble, baked in a 9x13-inch pan.
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 cups white sugar
  • 0.5 cup butter, softened
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 4 cups fresh blueberries
  • 1.3333333730698 cups white sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 0.66666668653488 cup cold butter, cut into cubes
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) and generously grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Make the buckle mixture: In a large bowl, use an electric mixer to blend sugar and butter until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well. In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt together. Gently combine the flour mixture with the creamy butter, alternating with milk until just mixed. Carefully fold in blueberries and pour the batter into the dish.
  • Make the irresistible topping by mixing sugar, flour, and cinnamon in a bowl. Add cold butter and blend until you get a crumbly mixture. Sprinkle this delectable topping over the batter.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack.
