Elevate traditional corned beef brisket with a delicious honey-mustard glaze for a flavorful twist.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (3 pound) corned beef brisket
  • 2 cups water
  • 0.25 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon country Dijon mustard
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) for the perfect cooking temperature.
  • Add the brisket and water to a Dutch oven, then seal tightly with the lid.
  • Roast in the preheated oven for 1 hour. Flip brisket and roast covered until meat is tender, for an additional 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
  • Take out of the oven and switch on the broiler.
  • Place the brisket, fat-side up, on a rack in a broiler pan. Combine honey and Dijon mustard, then brush half of the mixture onto the top of the brisket.
  • Position the roasting pan under the broiler so it is 3 to 4 inches away from the heat source. Broil for 3 minutes. Brush with the rest of the honey-mustard and broil for an additional 2 minutes until the brisket is perfectly glazed.
