Generational cut-out sugar cookie recipe now yours to enjoy with loved ones.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups butter
  • 1.5 cups white sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract
  • 3.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons cream of tartar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
Instructions:
  • Using an electric mixer, cream together butter and sugar in a large bowl until smooth. Add the eggs one at a time, ensuring each egg is fully incorporated before adding the next. Mix in vanilla extract and almond extract with the final egg.
  • In a separate bowl, combine flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt, then mix into the wet ingredients until a cookie dough forms. Shape the dough into a ball, wrap it in plastic wrap, and chill in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours.
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) for the perfect cooking temperature.
  • On a dusted surface, roll out dough, cut it with cookie cutters, and place cookies on baking sheets.
  • Bake cookies in a preheated oven until edges are lightly golden, for about 6 to 8 minutes.
