Indulge guilt-free with this decadent vegan chocolate cake, no milk, eggs, or butter required.
Ingredients:
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 6 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 cups water
  • 0.66666668653488 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons distilled white vinegar
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and generously grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.
  • Combine flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, and baking powder in a large bowl and whisk until thoroughly mixed.
  • In a separate bowl, combine water, oil, vinegar, and vanilla. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and beat with an electric mixer until smooth. Transfer the batter into the prepared pan.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow to cool in the pan for about 30 minutes after removing from the oven.
  • Dust the cooled cake with confectioners' sugar.
