Decadent chocolate fudge pie with just 6 simple ingredients, a foolproof recipe for any level of baker.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter
  • 3 (1 ounce) squares unsweetened chocolate
  • 1.5 cups white sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 3 tablespoons light corn syrup (such as Karo®)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 (9 inch) ready-to-use refrigerated pie crust
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Gently melt butter and chocolate together in a pan on low heat.
  • Take it off the heat and stir in sugar, eggs, corn syrup, and vanilla until fully mixed. Transfer the mixture into the pie crust.
  • Bake in the oven until almost firm with a slight jiggle, for 40 to 45 minutes.
  • Cool the dish to room temperature before serving to allow the filling to thicken.
