Classic Grandma's rice pudding: Warm rice pudding with a sprinkle of comforting cinnamon, a timeless family favorite.
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 cups water
  • 0.5 cup long grain rice
  • 1 cup 2% milk
  • 0.5 (12 fluid ounce) can evaporated milk
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 pinch ground cinnamon
Instructions:
  • In a saucepan, bring water and rice to a gentle boil. Lower the heat and simmer covered until rice is tender and water is absorbed, for about 20 minutes. Stir in 2% milk, evaporated milk, sugar, and butter. Simmer while stirring until creamy, for an additional 20 minutes. Serve topped with a sprinkle of cinnamon.
