Family heirloom strawberry-rhubarb crisp recipe passed down for generations, now yours to enjoy and pass on.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 0.75 cup rolled oats
  • 0.5 cup melted butter
  • 0.33333334326744 cup milk
  • 2 cups diced rhubarb
  • 2 cups diced strawberries
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 0.25 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground allspice
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) for perfect baking temperature.
  • Mix together 1 cup flour, brown sugar, oats, and melted butter until combined. Press most of the mixture into the base of a 9-inch square baking dish.
  • In a large bowl, whisk eggs and milk until smooth. Mix in rhubarb, strawberries, white sugar, 1/4 cup flour, and allspice until flour and sugar dissolve. Pour over crust and sprinkle remaining crust mixture on top.
  • Bake in a toasty oven until the filling is perfectly set, for 45 to 60 minutes.
