Impress at your holiday feast with a vibrant cranberry apple salad featuring crunchy celery, sweet pecans, and a burst of cherry JELL-O®.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound fresh cranberries
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 1.5 cups water
  • 2 (3 ounce) packages cherry-flavored gelatin (such as JELL-O®)
  • 1.5 cups chopped celery
  • 1.5 cups chopped, peeled apple
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
Instructions:
  • Combine cranberries, sugar, and water in a saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until most of the cranberries have burst, approximately 20 minutes.
  • Take the saucepan off the heat. Mix the gelatin into the cranberry mixture until fully dissolved. Add celery, apple, and pecans, and give it a good stir. Transfer the mixture into a 13x9-inch glass dish.
  • Chill until the center is firm, about 10 to 12 hours.
