Crispy fried cauliflower delights all ages with its delicious flavor and satisfying crunch.
Ingredients:
  • 3 cups oil for frying, or as needed
  • 1 head cauliflower, broken into florets
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
Instructions:
  • Preheat oil in a deep-fryer or large saucepan to 375°F (190°C).
  • Season cauliflower florets with a pinch of salt in a bowl.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs and vegetable oil. Add in flour and milk and whisk until a smooth batter forms.
  • In batches, dip cauliflower florets into the batter and mix until fully coated.
  • Fry battered cauliflower in preheated oil until golden brown, about 4-6 minutes total, turning halfway through. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
