Creamy lemon sherbet made with just half-and-half, sugar, and fresh lemons.
Ingredients:
  • 1 quart half-and-half
  • 1.5 cups sugar
  • 0.5 cup lemon juice
  • lemons, zested
Instructions:
  • Combine half-and-half, sugar, lemon juice, and lemon zest in a bowl. Freeze until ice crystals form, approximately 1 hour. Stir mixture to evenly distribute crystals, then freeze again until crystals form once more, about 1 hour.
  • Freeze and stir two more times. Cover the bowl with a lid and freeze until solid, approximately 2 hours.
