Savory pork chops cooked with bacon, onions, and potatoes in a single skillet for a cozy and convenient meal.
Ingredients:
  • 0.25 pound bacon
  • 4 pork chops
  • 3 medium potatoes, peeled and cut into thick slices
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 1 cup water
  • salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
  • Fry bacon in a spacious skillet over medium-high heat, flipping occasionally, until fully cooked but not crispy, approximately 6 minutes. Remove bacon to a plate lined with paper towels, keeping the flavorful grease in the skillet.
  • Brown pork chops in the flavorful bacon grease over medium-high heat for 2 to 3 minutes per side.
  • Dice the bacon while the pork is browning.
  • Place potato and onion slices in the skillet with bacon. Add water, cover the skillet, and bring to a gentle boil over medium heat. Simmer until potatoes are tender, approximately 30 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
