Decadent chocolate cake topped with Aunt Mary's Vanilla Frosting for the ultimate indulgence.
Ingredients:
2cups all-purpose flour
0.75 cupunsweetened cocoa powder
2teaspoons baking soda
1teaspoonbaking powder
1pinchsalt
1cupmilk
0.5 cupvegetable oil
1teaspoonvanilla extract
1cuphot, brewed coffee
2eggs
Instructions:
Combine flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a spacious bowl, sifting them together.
Combine oil, milk, vanilla, coffee, and eggs and beat until well combined. The batter will have a thin consistency. Pour the mixture into two 9-inch round pans that have been greased and floured.
Bake at 325 degrees F (165 degrees C) for 25 minutes, or until the top bounces back when touched. Then, let the layers cool on wire racks.
