Whip up our easy and adorable Grizzly Chocolate Bear Cake for a crowd-pleasing treat at any children's event.
Ingredients:
  • 2 x 600g chocolate mud cakes with icing
  • 600g white chocolate mud cake with icing
  • 1 1/2 x 453g tubs milk chocolate frosting, chilled
  • 3 Oreo cookies
  • 2 mini Oreo cookies
  • 2 milk chocolate digestive biscuits
  • 1 Kingston biscuit
  • 2 brown M&M’s Minis
  • 7cm piece licorice strap
Instructions:
  • 1. Stack 1 chocolate mud cake on a cake board or serving plate. Layer with white chocolate mud cake, then top with the remaining chocolate mud cake. Gently press the cake layers together. Set aside 1 tablespoon of frosting. Spread the rest of the frosting over the cake evenly. Chill in the refrigerator for 15 minutes to slightly set the frosting. Afterwards, create a fur-like texture on the frosting by using a palette knife.
  • Split all Oreo cookies in half, keeping the white filling attached to one half. Discard the other halves. Use some reserved frosting to stick 1 large Oreo cookie, with the filling facing up, onto each Digestive biscuit. Follow a visual guide and use a small knife to shape the filling of another large Oreo into a nose. Attach the nose to a Kingston biscuit with a bit of reserved frosting. Place 1 M&M Mini on top of each mini Oreo cookie with the filling facing up to create eyes.
  • Cut one 2mm x 7cm and two 4mm x 2cm long pieces of licorice from the strap. Cut 2 x 4cm slits on either side of the top of the cake. Securely press the ears into the slits to attach them. Arrange the nose and eyes on the cake to create a face. Place the 7cm licorice piece under the nose to form a mouth. Add the 2cm licorice pieces above the eyes to form eyebrows. Serve and enjoy!
