Easy homemade egg noodles with savory brown butter garlic sauce.
Ingredients:
  • 3.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 5 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil, or as needed
  • 1 tablespoon water, or as needed
  • 0.5 cup butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • salt to taste
  • 0.5 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 0.25 cup grated Parmesan cheese, or to taste
Instructions:
  • On a clean countertop, make a mound of flour and create a well in the center. Add eggs along with a splash of water and oil into the well. Use a fork to combine the ingredients and form a dough, then knead until a smooth ball forms.
  • On a floured surface, divide the dough ball into quarters and roll each piece out to either 1/8- or 1/4-inch thickness. Cut into your preferred lengths and shapes.
  • 1. Boil salted water and cook noodles until al dente, about 4 to 5 minutes. Drain.
  • Simmer butter in a saucepan, then stir in garlic and salt. Toss in cooked noodles and garnish with parsley and Parmesan cheese.
