Chewy chocolate chip quinoa granola bars with sweet applesauce and honey, perfect for a quick homemade snack.
Ingredients:
4cups quinoa flakes
2cups almond flour
0.25 teaspoonflax seeds
1teaspoonsalt
1cuphoney
1cupapplesauce
1cupchocolate chips
4teaspoons vanilla extract
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a rimmed baking sheet.
In a large bowl, mix together quinoa flakes, almond flour, flax seeds, baking powder, and salt.
Combine honey, applesauce, chocolate chips, eggs, and vanilla extract in a separate bowl. Incorporate into quinoa flake mixture using your hands until well combined. Press evenly onto a prepared baking sheet with hands or a spatula.
Place in the heated oven until lightly golden, for approximately 15 minutes. Allow to cool for 20 minutes before slicing into 36 bars.
