Homemade Middle Eastern za'atar spice blend: simple and flavorful with fresh thyme and sesame seeds. Just 4 ingredients needed!
Ingredients:
  • 3 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 3 tablespoons fresh thyme leaves
  • 1 tablespoon sumac powder
Instructions:
  • Toast sesame seeds in a dry skillet over medium heat until lightly golden, for approximately 3 to 5 minutes.
  • Mix together sesame seeds, thyme, sumac, and salt in a bowl until fully blended.
