Try our easy and fun honey joy pops with a twist!
Ingredients:
  • 937.50 ml cornflakes
  • 90g butter
  • 42.90 gm honey
  • 70.95 gm caster sugar
  • 285.00 gm milk chocolate melts
  • 40.00 ml mixed sprinkles
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 180C/160C fan-forced, and prepare a 24-hole mini muffin pan by lining it with paper cases.
  • In a large heatproof bowl, gently crush the cornflakes by hand.
  • In a small saucepan over low heat, gently melt butter, honey, and sugar together, stirring until smooth, about 3 to 4 minutes. Increase heat to medium-high and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and immediately pour over cornflakes, stirring thoroughly to coat.
  • Divide the mixture evenly among the pan holes, gently pressing down with a metal teaspoon to pack it in. Bake for about 10 minutes or until golden brown.
  • While you wait, melt 2 tablespoons of chocolate in a small microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on HIGH (100%), stirring halfway through, for 30 seconds to 1 minute until smooth. Take out the honey joys from the oven. Quickly dip 1cm of each pop stick into the melted chocolate and insert into the warm honey joys. Let them cool completely.
  • Prepare a large baking tray by lining it with baking paper. In a small microwave-safe bowl, melt the remaining chocolate melts by microwaving on HIGH for 1 to 2 minutes, stirring halfway through until smooth. Remove the paper cases from the honey joys and place sprinkles in a shallow dish. Dip the top of each honey joy in the melted chocolate, then cover them with sprinkles. Arrange the coated honey joys on the prepared tray and let them set for about 10 minutes. Finally, serve and enjoy!
