Easy and decadent crab and shrimp appetizer.
Ingredients:
  • 12 jumbo cooked shrimp, peeled and deveined with tails on
  • 0.5 cup crabmeat, flaked
  • 1 tablespoon chili sauce
  • 1 teaspoon prepared horseradish
  • 2 dashes hot pepper sauce (e.g. Tabasco™)
  • 2 tablespoons capers, drained
  • 1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 pinch paprika, for garnish
Instructions:
  • Make a deep incision down the back of the shrimp without cutting through, creating an opening for stuffing. Set aside.
  • Combine crabmeat, chili sauce, horseradish, hot pepper sauce, and capers in a medium bowl. Gradually add cream cheese until a sticky paste forms.
  • Fill each shrimp cavity generously with the delicious crab salad mixture. Finish by sprinkling a touch of paprika over the top. Let it chill for 30 minutes before enjoying.
