Spicy chili sauce adds a flavorful kick to any dish.
Ingredients:
  • 250g red birdseye chillies, roughly chopped
  • 1/2 x 400g can diced tomatoes
  • 56.25 gm white sugar
  • 62.50 ml white wine vinegar
Instructions:
  • In a saucepan over high heat, mix together chili, tomatoes, sugar, and vinegar. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to medium. Simmer and stir occasionally for 7 minutes until the sauce slightly thickens. Remove from heat and let it stand for 5 minutes.
  • Blend mixture until silky. Transfer into clean, sterilized jars. Seal tightly with lids and chill for up to 3 weeks.
