Make perfect fluffy quinoa in 20 minutes. Versatile, gluten-free, high-protein grain for salads, bowls, and wraps. Prep a big batch to enjoy all week.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup quinoa , any variety
  • Pinch of salt (optional)
Instructions:
  • Give the quinoa a quick rinse: Place the quinoa in a fine-meshed strainer and rinse under cold water for 30 seconds. Ensure it's well drained.
  • Prepare the quinoa: In a small saucepan, cook the rinsed quinoa with 2 cups of water and a pinch of salt. Bring to a boil, then simmer gently for 12-16 minutes until the germ separates and curls around the seeds. Check for water absorption by digging a spoon to the bottom of the pot. If needed, continue cooking for a few more minutes.
  • Let the cooked quinoa steam for 5 minutes by covering the pan with a lid off the heat.
