Hudson's Baked Tilapia with Dill Sauce

Cajun citrus tilapia baked to perfection, topped with creamy dill lemon sauce.
Ingredients:
  • 4 (4 ounce) fillets tilapia
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning, or to taste
  • 1 lemon, thinly sliced
  • 0.25 cup mayonnaise
  • 0.5 cup sour cream
  • 0.125 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh dill
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Season both sides of the tilapia fillets generously with salt, pepper, and Cajun seasoning. Lay the fillets in a single layer in a baking dish and top each with a couple of lemon slices to cover most of the surface.
  • Place in a preheated oven and bake until fish flakes easily with a fork, about 15 to 20 minutes.
  • Combine mayonnaise, sour cream, garlic powder, lemon juice, and dill in a small bowl. Serve with the baked tilapia.
