Award-winning cake with cream cheese frosting highlighting the delicious mix of fruits and nuts.
Ingredients:
  • 1.25 cups vegetable oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 (8 ounce) can crushed pineapple with juice
  • 0.75 cup chopped pecans
  • 0.25 cup chopped black walnuts
  • 0.66666668653488 cup mashed bananas
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and generously grease and flour three 9-inch round cake pans.
  • Mix together the flour, sugar, salt, ground cinnamon, and baking soda. Incorporate the oil and well-beaten eggs by hand until just moistened. Gently fold in the vanilla, pineapple, nuts, and bananas.
  • Pour the batter into the pans and bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 25 to 30 minutes. Allow the cakes to cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then transfer them onto racks to cool. Finally, top with Cream Cheese Frosting.
