Decadent Italian ricotta cheesecake with zesty orange and a hint of whiskey.
Ingredients:
  • 9 eggs
  • 3 pounds ricotta cheese
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon grated orange zest
  • 1 (1.5 fluid ounce) jigger whiskey, optional
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and coat two 9-inch pie pans with vegetable oil cooking spray.
  • In a large bowl, vigorously whisk eggs until frothy. Stir in ricotta cheese, vanilla, cinnamon, sugar, zest, and whiskey until well combined. Transfer the mixture into the prepared pans.
  • Place in a preheated oven and bake for 1 to 1 hour 15 minutes until firm. Allow it to cool, then chill in the refrigerator until cold.
