Elevate your shepherd's pie with creamy American cheese and sweet cream-style corn for a delicious twist!
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 (16 ounce) can cream-style corn
  • 1 (10 ounce) package frozen corn niblets
  • 16 slices American cheese
  • 1.5 pounds mashed potatoes
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 350°F (175°C).
  • In a hot skillet, brown the beef until crumbly, about 5-7 minutes. Drain off excess grease.
  • Combine cream-style corn and corn niblets in a saucepan over medium heat. Heat and stir for 5 to 10 minutes until warmed through.
  • Layer the bottom of a casserole dish with ground beef, followed by 8 slices of American cheese, corn mixture, more cheese slices, and mashed potatoes.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes, until the corn mixture bubbles along the edges of the dish. Allow to cool slightly before slicing.
