Family-favorite peach cobbler recipe passed down for generations.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup butter, melted
  • 2 large peaches, peeled and sliced
  • 1.5 cups white sugar, divided
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 1 pinch ground nutmeg
  • 0.75 cup milk
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to a toasty 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) before gracefully pouring butter into an 8-inch square baking dish.
  • In a bowl, mix peaches with 3/4 cup of sugar. In another bowl, whisk together flour, the rest of the sugar, baking powder, salt, and nutmeg. Gently stir in milk until the batter comes together. Pour the batter over melted butter and arrange the sugared peaches on top.
  • Bake until the cobbler turns a beautiful golden brown in the preheated oven for 45 to 50 minutes.
