Create homemade sriracha salt with just sriracha and salt for a spicy boost to dishes or thoughtful gifts.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup kosher salt
  • 5 teaspoons sriracha hot sauce
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
  • Combine the salt and sriracha hot sauce in a small bowl, then evenly spread the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet.
  • Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and allow it to rest without opening the door for about 3 hours. Stir the salt mixture to break up any clumps. If the mixture is not completely dry, repeat the process and check after 1 hour.
  • Add the dry salt mixture to a food processor and pulse briefly until the clumps disappear.
