Sweet and simple banana delight with a soft, chewy center and slightly crunchy crust, made with ripe bananas.
Ingredients:
  • 0.25 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and lightly grease an 8x4 inch loaf pan.
  • Cream together the butter and sugar in a large bowl until smooth. Add the egg and mashed bananas, beating well. Gently mix in the flour, baking soda, and salt until just combined. Transfer the batter into a greased loaf pan.
  • Bake in a preheated oven for 1 hour until the top is golden brown. Adjust heat if needed to achieve a soft, chewy center and a crisp, crunchy exterior.
