Garlic and pancetta Brussels sprouts - a delicious side dish bursting with flavor.
Ingredients:
  • 3 cups water
  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts, trimmed
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 ounces pancetta bacon, diced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
Instructions:
  • 1. Boil water in a large saucepan. 2. Add Brussels sprouts and cook for 5 to 7 minutes until slightly firm. 3. Drain and rinse under cold water. 4. Slice the sprouts in half and set aside.
  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat one tablespoon of olive oil and cook the garlic and pancetta for 5 minutes until the garlic is lightly browned. Add the Brussels sprouts with the remaining olive oil, reduce heat to medium, and cook until the sprouts are well coated. Season with salt and pepper, and cook for an additional 5 minutes before serving.
