Irresistible overnight broccoli salad with creamy cheese and crispy bacon, perfect for potlucks and parties.
Ingredients:
  • 3 pounds broccoli, cut into florets
  • 1 pound cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 0.5 red onion, diced
  • 0.5 cup baby Roma tomatoes, quartered
  • 1 (8 ounce) package shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 0.75 cup mayonnaise
  • 0.66666668653488 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 0.5 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar
Instructions:
  • 1. Boil a large pot of water until it is bubbling vigorously. Add broccoli florets and blanch them until they turn bright green, approximately 10 seconds. Immediately transfer the broccoli to a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process. Allow the broccoli to cool for about 5 minutes, then drain well.
  • In a bowl, mix together the broccoli, crispy bacon, vibrant red onion, juicy tomatoes, and sharp Cheddar cheese.
  • In a separate bowl, blend together mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese, sour cream, and sugar until smooth. Gently fold this mixture into the broccoli. Cover and refrigerate for at least 8 hours, preferably overnight.
