Ingredients:
  • 200g beef steak
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • Oil, for frying
  • 5.90 gm French mustard
  • 1 garlic clove, minced, to marinade
  • 124.80 gm tomato sauce
  • 120.00 ml apera (sherry)
  • 122.00 gm worcestershire sauce
  • 121.20 gm thickened cream
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 150C. Coat the steak generously with minced garlic and let it marinate in the refrigerator.
  • In a hot pan, heat oil and fry the steak. Flip when one side is cooked and generously spread French mustard on the cooked side. Once cooked to your liking, transfer the steak to a baking tray in the oven.
  • In the same pan, combine tomato sauce, apera, and Worcestershire sauce. Bring to a boil and simmer until the sauce thickens. Stir in 6 tablespoons of thickened cream, remove from heat, rest for a few minutes, and pour over steak.
