Crispy Cajun croutons made with multigrain bread and seasoned with butter, ideal for salads.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 loaf multigrain bread, cubed
  • 0.25 cup butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning (such as Emeril's Essence®), divided
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese, divided
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder, divided
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) and elegantly line a baking sheet with shimmering aluminum foil.
  • In a large bowl, combine bread cubes and drizzle with butter, tossing until evenly coated. Sprinkle half of the Cajun seasoning, Parmesan cheese, and onion powder over the cubes; toss well to coat. Spread the seasoned bread cubes on a baking sheet and sprinkle the remaining Cajun seasoning, Parmesan cheese, and onion powder over the top.
  • Place the dish in the preheated oven for 7 minutes. Stir, then bake for an additional 8 minutes until crispy.
