Refreshing summer or party beverage!
Ingredients:
  • 2 (750 milliliter) bottles red wine
  • 2 cups rum
  • 2 cups orange juice
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 pint fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 (20 ounce) can pineapple chunks in juice
  • 1 (10 ounce) jar maraschino cherries, drained
Instructions:
  • Combine the red wine, rum, orange juice, and sugar in a large pitcher. Chill in the refrigerator for 8 hours or overnight.
  • Combine the strawberries, pineapple chunks, and maraschino cherries in a large bowl. Pour in 2 cups of rum and 2 cups of orange juice, then refrigerate for 8 hours or overnight.
  • Strain the fruit, saving the liquid if preferred, then combine it with the sangria in the pitcher for serving.
