Succulent A1 burger grilled with rosemary seasoning, topped with all the fixings.
Ingredients:
  • For the Burger:
  • 1 pound ground beef, an 80/20 mix of ground chuck or sirloin is best
  • 2 heaping tablespoons chopped fresh rosemary leaves
  • 2 tablespoons A.1. sauce
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, about a half a teaspoon each
  • For Serving:
  • 3 to 4 hamburger buns
  • Lettuce
  • Sliced tomatoes
  • Sliced onions
  • Sliced avocado
  • Mayonnaise
  • Ketchup
  • Mustard
Instructions:
  • Create the burger mixture by evenly mixing the rosemary and A.1. sauce into the hamburger meat. Season with salt and freshly ground pepper to your liking.
  • Shape the hamburger patties by dividing the meat into 3 or 4 portions and molding them into patties. For lean meat, consider incorporating a drizzle of olive oil into the mixture. Alternatively, you can coat the formed patties with a light oil rub before cooking.
  • Grill the hamburger patties on high heat until juices start to appear on the surface, then flip and grill the other side until juices appear again. If using a grill pan indoors, ensure proper ventilation with your stove fan and adjust heat to medium high.
  • Toast the buns: Optionally, toast the buns on the hot grill surface. Onions can be enjoyed raw with the hamburger or cooked in a dash of olive oil.
  • To serve burgers, top them with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, avocado, mayo, ketchup, and mustard. If desired, omit the bun for a low-carb or gluten-free option.
