Crispy Jo Jo potatoes, coated in egg and savory spices, fried until golden perfection. Perfect as an appetizer or side dish.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.75 teaspoon lemon pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon onion powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon celery salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon seasoning salt
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 4 potatoes, unpeeled and cut into 1/2 inch thick wedges
  • vegetable oil for frying
Instructions:
  • In a shallow bowl, mix flour, lemon pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, celery salt, and seasoning salt. In a separate shallow bowl, place beaten egg.
  • Coat potato wedges in beaten egg, then generously cover with flour mixture.
  • Preheat oil in a deep fryer until it reaches 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  • Fry potatoes in batches in hot oil until golden brown, about 5 to 7 minutes. Drain on paper towels briefly before serving hot.
