Quick and easy steamed asparagus with low-fat raspberry sauce, perfect side dish for beef, chicken, or seafood.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound fresh asparagus spears, trimmed
  • 1 (8 ounce) container low-fat raspberry yogurt
  • 0.5 lemon, juiced
Instructions:
  • Steam the asparagus in a basket over 1 inch of boiling water, covered, for 5 to 8 minutes until tender and vibrant green.
  • Combine the yogurt and lemon juice in a small saucepan. Heat over medium heat until warmed.
  • Arrange the steamed asparagus on serving plates and drizzle with the sauce or serve the sauce on the side.
