Ingredients:
  • 2 cups stone ground cornmeal
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 2 tablespoons boiling water
Instructions:
  • Combine the cornmeal, salt, and butter until creamy. Stir in the milk and water until a moist, firm batter forms.
  • Place dollops of the batter onto a sizzling greased griddle and gently press down with a spoon. Once golden, flip and cook the opposite side.
